Are you looking for an easy way to burn off some of your kids’ endless energy? You are in luck! There is a brilliant, free activity happening right now in Strathnairn. We are talking about the awesome “Kids Sports at Paddy’s Park” event series.

This program is running every Monday afternoon. It is a fantastic opportunity for local families to get active. The sessions focus on two super popular sports: basketball and soccer. But these aren’t intense, competitive games. Instead, they are fun-filled training sessions! It’s all about having a really good time.

Whether your child is a budding superstar player or just wants to try a new sport, they are welcome. The activities are specifically designed for kids aged 8 to 13 years. This is a great age for learning new skills and teamwork. Your child can shoot some hoops on the court. Or, they can practice kicking a goal on the field. They will definitely make some new friends along the way.

Paddy’s Park offers the perfect setting for these afternoon sessions. They run from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Parents, listen up! While the kids are exercising, you must stay on site. Therefore, this is a nice opportunity for parents to connect. You can relax on a park bench. Maybe you can chat with other Ginninderry mums and dads.

Remember, spots are certainly limited! There is a cap of 14 participants for each sport daily. That helps keep the groups manageable and fun for everyone.

One important note, however: this wonderful free program is exclusively for Ginninderry residents. It’s an amazing community perk! If you are thinking of moving to Canberra, you can expect a friendly community here. The local spirit is active and welcoming.

Don’t let your kids miss out on the action. It’s a fantastic, energetic way to start the week! Register quickly to secure your child’s spot on the court or the field. Get out there and play!
