Canberra families, are you ready for some brick-tastic news? We all know that the ACT is full of wonderful places to visit. But sometimes the best fun is found in the most familiar places.

We recently stumbled upon a treasure trove of fun for children. It is the Canberra LEGO Brick Club offered through Libraries ACT. It is an absolute gem for young builders and their patient parents. The club is designed specifically for children who love to imagine, create, and build. This is where tiny hands get to do big things.

What exactly happens at a LEGO Brick Club? Well, kids arrive and are usually presented with a fun building challenge. They might need to construct the fastest car or perhaps the tallest tower. Sometimes, it’s just free-building time. The challenge is often themed, which keeps things fresh. Plus, all the LEGO bricks are provided! You do not need to bring your massive collection from home.

It is brilliant for the children, but it’s great for the grown-ups, too. This activity encourages important skills. For example, kids learn how to collaborate with others on a project. They also develop fantastic problem-solving abilities. Moreover, it is a wonderful way to enjoy some screen-free downtime.

The ACT Libraries host these sessions across various branches. So, there is likely a club meeting close to your home. Do yourself a favour and check the official Libraries ACT events page now for current session times and locations. You can simply search for “LEGO Brick Club.”

Go on, add some brick-tastic fun to your family’s calendar. Get building, Canberra!
