Calling all Canberra families! We’ve sniffed out a truly pawsome event coming to the city that you simply won’t want to miss. Get ready to welcome one of the world’s most loved pups: Spot!

Yes, Eric Hill’s famous, playful canine is hitting the stage right here in the ACT. This live show is designed especially for our youngest family members. It makes for the perfect school holiday treat!

Spot and his friends are embarking on a brand new adventure. Their mission is a visit to Spot’s Dad down on the farm. But oh no! When they arrive, all the farm animals have disappeared. That’s where your little audience members come in! The show desperately needs their help to solve the puzzles and find every lost animal. It’s a wonderful, interactive journey.

The whole production brings the classic books to vibrant life. You will see bright, engaging puppetry throughout the show. There are also lots of catchy songs to sing along to, which kids love! This production is specifically recommended for children aged 18 months and up. This is great news for families. It truly caters to toddlers and preschoolers. It’s often tough finding shows for the very young, but the Canberra Theatre Centre has nailed it with this one.

Plus, the length is just right for little attention spans! The performance runs for approximately 50 minutes with no interval. This means less restlessness and an easy transition back to afternoon naps or playtime afterwards.

The show is running on the 4th and 5th of July 2026. Why not make a day of it in the city? Grab your tickets and head down to the Canberra Theatre for a dose of wholesome family fun. It’s the perfect way to make happy memories in our fabulous capital city.
